Counting money and calculating change is an important math skill, but it is also an important skill for life. Having financial literacy and being able to quickly and accurately apply skills with bills and coins are critical long-term math skills that all students need to master at an early age.
This set of 36 money task cards provide an engaging way to differentiate practice without relying on boring worksheets.
The cards progressively build to more challenging skills, beginning with counting coins, transitioning to comparing amounts of money, making change, and computing money earned over time (including multi-step story problems). You can easily meet students where they are by assigning a different set of cards based on individual needs.
Perfect for intervention groups, small group practice, math centers, or even a whole class game of SCOOT.
